Job summary

Sioux Falls School District is seeking an Intensive Intervention Specialist to provide targeted reading or math intervention for middle school students in the 21st CCLC program, outside the regular school day.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, a valid South Dakota teaching certificate, and the ability to monitor progress, maintain records, and collaborate with program staff and families. This is a part-time, after-school position with a consistent schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field required.
• Experience with middle school students preferred.
• Must have a valid South Dakota teaching certificate.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted reading or mathematics intervention to middle school students participating in the 21st CCLC program.
• Work with small groups requiring additional academic support.
• Administer assessments and monitor student progress.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress.
