Job summary

The 21st Century CCLC/SPLASH coordinator at Urbana School District #116's Dr. Preston L. Williams Jr.

Elementary is responsible for the overall workings of the before and after school program, including planning and preparation, staff hiring, daily operations supervision, and student supervision for grades 2–5 within the parameters established by funding and school district procedures. The coordinator must be energetic, creative, and willing to work hours outside of the school day.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field is required; master's preferred.
• Administrative endorsement or equivalent is desired.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement grant-based after-school program per policies.
• Assist admin in planning, design, and stakeholder communication.
• Engage staff to link school-day curriculum with extended-day program.
• Recruit, hire, and supervise staff; manage schedules and timesheets.
• Maintain enrollment records, schedules, and documentation.
• Manage program logistics, budgeting, reports, and grant documentation.
