The YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles seeks an Enrichment Site Director to lead high quality before and after school programs on a public school campus in Torrance, CA. You will guide staff, manage enrollment and operations, and partner with families and schools to deliver engaging youth experiences.

The role emphasizes leadership, staff development, and program excellence, with a schedule aligned to school calendars and occasional evenings/weekends for events.

Qualifications

• Twenty one (21) years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two to four years of experience leading or supervising before and after school, recreation, day camp, or other youth development programs.
• Experience supervising and developing Team Members while creating a positive, collaborative work environment.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience planning and implementing age appropriate, developmentally appropriate youth programs.
• Ability to build positive, authentic relationships with children, families, school partners, and people from diverse backgrounds.
• Current EMSA First Aid and Adult, Infant, and Child CPR certifications, or the ability to obtain required certifications as a condition of employment.
• Completion of required health screenings and background clearances prior to working with participants.

Responsabilités

• Lead a high quality before and after school enrichment program where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to learn and grow.
• Recruit, coach, develop, and inspire a team of YMCA Team Members committed to delivering exceptional youth programs.
• Build strong partnerships with school administrators, teachers, families, and community partners to strengthen the program and expand opportunities for youth.
• Oversee daily program operations, enrollment, budgeting, compliance, and program quality while maintaining a culture of excellence.
• Create meaningful experiences that help children develop academically, socially, emotionally, and physically while advancing the YMCA's mission of strengthening community.
