Job summary

Mentoring Alliance seeks an After School Program Leader to foster youth development by guiding elementary students in enrichment activities after school. This non-exempt, part-time role emphasizes excellence, wholeheartedness, and developing kids to reach their full potential within a Gospel-centered, Christian ministry environment. The position runs Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m.

to 6:00 p.m. during the school year.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years of age; High School Diploma or GED preferred and some post-secondary training highly preferred
• Have a passion and love for working with elementary school-aged children
• Spanish-speaking ability greatly valued
• Agree with and exhibit behaviors in accordance with the Mentoring Alliance Statement of Faith
• Ability to earn CPR/First Aid certification (mandatory)
• Pass Mandatory Background/Sex offender check
• Legally allowed to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Lead elementary students in enrichment activities after school
• Foster youth development in an after school setting
• Model Christian values and Gospel-centered approach in interactions
• Maintain safety and rapport with kids during program hours
