Job summary

Arc Experience is seeking a Program Leader in the San Diego area to support after-school programs across Southern California. You will guide students through social-emotional learning, homework help, and enrichment activities, creating engaging and safe daily experiences.

This part-time role reports to the Site Coordinator and offers an afternoon shift, with opportunities to develop leadership skills and make a positive community impact.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in after-school programs or youth recreation.
• Strong communication with kids and parents.
• College credits: 48+ completed or pass an academic proficiency exam.
• Must pass TB test and Live Scan background check.
• Bilingual English-Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome kids after school.
• Organize and lead activities: homework help, games, arts and crafts.
• Join indoor and outdoor enrichment activities.
• Create clubs for students (career readiness, cooking, anime, dance).
• Maintain a safe environment by following safety protocols and monitoring behavior.
• Oversee safety and well-being during activities.
• Encourage participation and adapt activities to diverse needs.
