Job summary

City of Kent is seeking After School Energy site supervisors to lead daily activities for children in grades K-5. Position is 9–10 hours per week, with late-afternoon shifts at multiple sites, starting Sep 2026 and ending May 2027.

Salary is $20.75 per hour, with open until filled. You will work under the Youth and Teen Manager and Program Coordinator, supervise staff, organize activities, and foster positive relationships with participants, families, and department staff.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and pass a Sterling background check.
• Must have First Aid/CPR certification prior to start date.
• Experience supervising staff and organizing activities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and lead daily activities for children in grades K-5.
• Organize group games, arts and crafts, and sports.
• Build positive relationships with participants, parents, and staff.
