Job summary

Right At School in Beverly Hills, CA, is hiring an Educator to deliver our dynamic after-school curriculum to students in the 5th grade and younger, in the 1:45pm–6:00pm window. You will organize materials, support learning, and help with homework while keeping children safe and engaged.

Ideal candidates have a year of experience with children, a high school diploma, CPR/First Aid certification, and the ability to lift 25 lbs.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Works well in a team environment.
• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13.
• High School Diploma or equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade.
• Six (6) units in Early Childhood Education or Child Development preferred.
• Current CPR and First Aid certificate.
• Ability to lift 25lbs.
• Drive to inspire a love for learning and healthy living.
• Live Scan, Mandated Reporter training, and TB health screening may be required.

Responsibilities

• Organize program materials for lessons and activities, document attendance and incidents.
• Deliver dynamic daily curriculum to engage children in academic and social learning.
• Model positive guidance and maintain safety, well-being, and attention of all children.
• Excellent communication with children, parents, staff and school personnel.
• Meet regularly with the Program Manager for progress and accountability.
