Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience with children in a licensed child care center preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification and Safety training within 30 days of hire.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a group of children in licensed before/after school or early learning programs.
• Promote growth and development using appropriate services and resources.
• Provide an engaging, safe, inclusive environment to encourage play and learning.
• Guide children in expressing feelings and asserting themselves appropriately.
• Support family engagement and positive relationships with families.
• Follow health and safety regulations and report suspected child abuse.
• Assist with program planning and weekly lesson plans.
• Promote professionalism and participate in ongoing professional development.
