Job summary

YMCA of Greater Cleveland is seeking a Child Care Assistant Teacher to support West Park Y Club operations in Cleveland, OH. You will assist in planning lessons, maintain records, and ensure compliance with state licensure while actively engaging with children and families.

The role requires at least a high school diploma and CPR/BLS certification within 30 days. Strong multitasking, communication, and MS Office skills are preferred to support daily program activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma required.
• CPR/BLS and First Aid certifications must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Experience in licensed childcare and MS Office products preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain child safety and supervise participants to meet ratios.
• Plan and implement lesson plans aligned with YMCA curriculum.
• Complete daily, weekly and monthly reports and maintain files.
