Job summary

Mentoring Alliance is seeking a Part Time Daycare Worker to lead elementary students in enrichment activities after school. This role requires devotion to excellence, a Christian ministry mindset, and serving the community as a minister of the Gospel.

The position is non-exempt and part-time, averaging 17-20 hours per week, Monday–Friday 2:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m. Qualified applicants should be at least 17, with a HS diploma or GED preferred, and willing to obtain CPR/First Aid certification.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years of age; High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Have a passion and love for working with elementary school-aged children
• Experience working with elementary school-aged children is preferred
• Must be available Monday - Friday 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. during the school calendar year
• Ability to earn CPR/First Aid certification (mandatory)
• Pass Mandatory Background/Sex offender check
• Valid driver’s license or valid ID
• Legally allowed to work in the United States
• Have dependable transportation
• Spanish-speaking ability greatly valued
