Job summary

The Daycare Teacher at The-Mentoring-Alliance After School leads elementary students in enrichment activities, guiding youth development in a part-time setting averaging 17-20 hours weekly. This ministry-focused role emphasizes excellence, wholeheartedness, and modeling Christian values in a community-based after-school program.

Candidates should be at least 17, possess a HS diploma or GED, be able to work weekdays 2–6 pm, and obtain CPR/First Aid certification.

Qualifications

Agree with and exhibit behaviors in accordance with the Mentoring Alliance Statement of Faith.
Must be at least 17 years of age; HS diploma or GED preferred and some post-secondary training preferred.
Have a passion and love for working with elementary school-aged children.
Experience working with elementary school-aged children is preferred.
Able to work Monday - Friday 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. during the school calendar year.
Must earn CPR/First Aid certification (mandatory).
Pass mandatory Background/Sex offender check.
Valid driver's license or valid ID.
Legally allowed to work in the United States.
Have dependable transportation.
Spanish-speaking ability greatly valued.
