Job summary

Chess Wizards, Inc in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking enthusiastic instructors for its after-school chess program. Lead fun classes for elementary students using a structured curriculum to teach fundamentals and sportsmanship while keeping a lively, positive classroom atmosphere.

You will travel to local schools for sessions between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM, teaching 1–5 classes per week with full training and provided materials. Competitive pay per class and mileage reimbursement offered.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching or coaching children in group settings.
• Ability to lead engaging, age-appropriate sessions.

Responsibilities

• Lead fun, interactive chess classes for 10-15 elementary students.
• Use structured curriculum to teach chess fundamentals and good sportsmanship.

• Follow school safety protocols during arrivals, dismissals, and activities.
• Travel to various local school sites for each session.
