You will lead 10–15 student classes at local schools, use our structured curriculum, and travel between sites. The role offers competitive pay per class and mileage reimbursement for longer trips, with weekday afternoon sessions.

Qualifications

• Experience working with groups of children in teaching, tutoring, coaching, camp counseling, or similar.
• Ability to lead a class independently and create interactive, friendly, and fun sessions.
• Professional, positive, kid-friendly demeanor and reliability.
• Strong grasp of chess fundamentals and ability to explain moves, basic strategy, and tactics to kids.

Responsibilities

• Lead fun, interactive chess classes for 10–15 elementary students.
• Use a structured curriculum to teach chess fundamentals and promote good sportsmanship.
• Manage a lively classroom with confidence and positivity.
• Encourage problem-solving, creativity, and critical thinking.
• Follow school safety protocols during arrival, dismissal, and in-class activities.
