Job summary

Chess Wizards, Inc. is seeking enthusiastic instructors for after-school chess sessions in Farmington Hills, MI. You will lead small groups of elementary students using a structured curriculum, promoting fun learning and sportsmanship.

Sessions run weekday afternoons (2:00–5:00 PM). Teach 1–5 classes weekly with mileage reimbursement for travel between local schools, and receive full training and ongoing support from the team.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching or tutoring groups of children.
• Ability to lead a class independently and be engaging.
• Professional, positive demeanor around kids.
• Strong sportsmanship and role modeling.
• Solid grasp of chess fundamentals and able to explain basics.
• Ability to connect chess to real-life problem solving.
• Reliable transportation and travel between locations.
• Weekday afternoon availability 2–5 PM for 1–5 classes per week.

Responsibilities
