Job summary

Broward County Public Schools is seeking staff to conduct the planned activities for the Before and After School Care on-site program, ensuring a safe and enriching environment for participants.

Required qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, experience with school-age children, BASCC training within the first year, and continuing BASCC modules. Must be 18+ and have computer skills; compensation follows district policy.

Qualifications

• A standard high school diploma or satisfactory completion of GED is required.
• Experience with school-age children in a group supervision setting is required.
• Within the 1st year must complete BASCC Components I and II.
• Within the 1st year must complete Florida My Florida SNP-10 hours, UDAP-5 hours, SAP-5 hours (PSP certification not acceptable).
• At least 10 hours BASCC training per year is required.
• Computer skills are required for the position.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
