Job summary

Charter Schools USA (CSUSA) is seeking a dedicated Before & After Care Worker to support a safe, orderly environment in the cafeteria, playground, and designated areas. You will supervise students, assist with homework, and help maintain a positive atmosphere in before and after school programs.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or higher, prefer prior daycare or camp experience, and demonstrate a genuine love for working with children while upholding CSUSA values and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher education credential.
• Previous experience as daycare assistant or summer camp counselor preferred.

• May perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Follow proper student sign-in and dismissal procedures for Before Care.
• Follow proper student check-in and dismissal procedures for After Care.
• Monitor students in cafeteria, playground and designated areas.
• Pass out snacks and supervise playtime on the playground.
• Tutor and assist students with homework.
• Resolve conflicts with children and parents.
