Job summary

You will supervise students in the cafeteria, playground, and designated areas, demonstrate professionalism with families, and support tutors with homework as needed.

Qualifications

• Must like children.

• Experience as daycare assistant or summer camp counselor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an orderly, safe, and pleasant atmosphere in the cafeteria, on the playground, and in designated locations.
• Supervise students during before and after care programs.
• Follow proper sign-in and dismissal procedures for Before/After Care.
• Monitor students and observe entrants/exits of childcare areas.
• Assist with snack distribution and engage children in activities.
• Tutor and assist students with homework.
• Resolve conflicts with children and parents.
