The JCC East Bay in Berkeley is looking for an Assistant Teacher to join the Edah afterschool program, working primarily with Kindergarten through 2nd grade students. You will support the Lead Teacher, help run activities, and contribute to a warm, inclusive learning environment after school hours.

This part-time role emphasizes daily routines, small-group support, and participation in Jewish and Hebrew programming, collaborating with Edah staff to help children learn, play, and build meaningful

Competenze

• Experience with elementary school-aged children.
• 2+ years in group settings preferred.
• Ability to engage and support young children in structured and unstructured settings.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with Jewish traditions and culture is a plus.
