Job summary

Partnership with Children in Harlem, NY is seeking an After-School Activity Specialist to facilitate engaging, age-appropriate activities after school. The role focuses on STEM, arts, sports, and other enrichment, delivering lesson plans, supervising children, and ensuring safety in a nurturing environment.

The position is part-time, 15–22.5 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 2:30pm–6pm, in-person only, with a pay rate of $20–$25 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree required; 2+ years in specialization preferred.
• Minimum of one year overseeing groups of children.
• Interest in working with children and attending to social-emotional needs.
• Ability to collaborate with staff, parents, and school personnel.

Responsibilities

• Create nurturing group environments and safe activities.
• Develop and deliver age-appropriate lesson plans (STEM, arts, sports, etc.).
• Ensure safety and supervise children during program hours.
• Coordinate student performances and provide materials for lessons.
