Job summary

Dignity Health - Marian Regional Medical Center in Santa Maria, CA seeks a House Supervisor to lead nursing after routine hours for Marian Regional Medical Center and Arroyo Grande Community Hospital. You will direct quality care, supervise staff, and serve as the nurse executive delegate during nights and weekends.

You will ensure 24/7 oversight of nursing services, staffing adequacy, and resource allocation, collaborating with Nurse Managers to maintain safe patient care across ages and units.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years acute experience as a Registered nurse within the last 6 years.
• Previous managerial experience or evidence of leadership ability.
• Registered Nurse license (CA RN).
• Basic Life Support - CPR BLS.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support - ACLS.

Responsibilities

• Manage nursing services for Marian Regional Medical Center and Arroyo Grande Community Hospital after routine administrative hours.
• Direct and supervise quality care for patients in collaboration with Nurse Managers.
• Act as nurse executive delegate during nights, weekends, and off-hours under Joint Commission standards.
• Provide 24/7 oversight of nursing services, staffing adequacy, and resource allocation.
• Ensure appropriate RN supervision at all times and evaluate staffing based on patient acuity and volume.
