Job summary

Dignity Health's Marian Regional Medical Center and Arroyo Grande Community Hospital seek a House Supervisor to oversee nursing services after routine hours. You will provide 24/7 oversight, ensure adequate RN supervision, and align staffing with patient acuity and volume.

With strong nursing leadership and knowledge of regulatory standards, you will guide teams, support quality care, and contribute to organizational reporting and governance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years acute experience as a Registered nurse within the last 6 years.
• Previous managerial experience or evidence of leadership ability.
• Registered Nurse: CA RN License.
• Basic Life Support - CPR BLS.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support - ACLS.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise quality care for patients across all ages during after-hours shifts.
• Act as nurse executive delegate to ensure RN supervision and Joint Commission compliance.
• Monitor staffing, acuity, and resource allocation; escalate to directors as needed.
• Participate in governance, reporting, and performance improvement activities.
