Job summary

Best Point Education & Behavioral Health seeks compassionate, skilled After-Hours Crisis Therapists to respond to crisis in Warren and Clinton Counties. You will assess, de-escalate, and connect clients to ongoing supports, delivering critical intervention from home or another location.

The role emphasizes rapid response, safety planning, and coordination with hospitals, law enforcement, schools, and community partners, with on-call shifts and flexibility in scheduling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a behavioral health field.
• Active Ohio behavioral health license (LSW/LPC/MFT LISW or LPCC preferred).
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Respond to mobile crisis service requests during on-call shifts.
• Mobilize from home or another location and arrive within 60 minutes.
• Conduct risk assessments and crisis evaluations.
• Provide de-escalation and stabilization services.
• Coordinate referrals and levels of care as needed.
• Develop individualized safety plans and connect to resources.
• Document accurately in the EHR within timelines.
