Job summary

Pillars Community Health, LLC is seeking an After-Hours Counselor to participate in an on-call crisis intervention schedule within the Berwyn area. The role requires on-site assessments within 60 minutes and travel to nearby ERs as needed, with weekend responsibilities at partner facilities.

The ideal candidate holds a master’s degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field and has experience with crisis intervention, assessment, and community-based interventions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy or related degree.
• Experience with adults, children and adolescents, crisis intervention, assessment, case management, brief treatment, and home/community interventions.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis intervention services in person or by telephone to police, school and hospital personnel, and community residents.
• Provide on-site assessment within 60 minutes.
• Conduct emergency on-site assessments to determine need for inpatient psychiatric hospitalization.
• Assess and stabilize high risk individuals and/or families.
• Complete required documentation and maintain records per PCH policies.
