Job summary

Villa at Willow Place is seeking a Nurse Supervisor LPN to lead and support nursing staff during non-business hours, ensure proper staffing and patient care, and act as the highest on-site authority after-hours. The role includes direct clinical care, administrative tasks, and coordination with other departments in a long-term care setting.

Ideal candidates hold an active Michigan LPN license, CPR certification, and at least 1 year of supervisory experience, with familiarity in long-term care

Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification required.
• Possess a current license to practice in the State as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Long-Term care and MDS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and leadership to all on-duty nursing staff during non-business hours.
• Act as the highest-ranking on-site authority during after-hours and weekends.
• Collaborate with other departments when needed and escalate issues appropriately.
• Offer clinical expertise and support in resolving patient care challenges.
• Develops and maintains care standards.
• Gives and receives nursing reports at shift change.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitary conditions in care areas.
• Perform administrative duties and direct nursing care as needed.
