Job summary

Compassus is a hospice and palliative care provider dedicated to compassionate care. This role provides hospice patient care after-hours and weekends, enabling patients to spend quality time with loved ones while ensuring comfort and coping for families.

You will build trusting, compassionate relationships with patients and families, and empower caregivers by educating them on care for their loved one.-flex schedule flexibility to meet staffing needs.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state you work.
• Two years of experience as a registered nurse; hospice experience preferred.
• Current driver’s license.
• Current CPR and BCLS certification.
• Must be willing to flex schedule to meet agency staffing needs (e.g., weekends only, weeknights only, 7on/7off).

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice patient care after-hours and weekend as needs arise.
• Enable patients to spend quality time with loved ones and engage in desired activities.
• Build trusting, compassionate relationships with patients and families.
• Empower caregivers by educating them on care for their loved one.
• Help patient and family maintain maximum level of comfort and coping for after-hours emergency support.
