Job summary

Georgia Hospice Care is seeking an After-Hours Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This salaried full-time role covers on-call shifts from 5pm Friday to 8am Monday, providing compassionate, patient-centered care and acting as the patient advocate within the care team.

You will collaborate with the patient’s family and the hospice team to ensure the plan of care is implemented, with strong support from our 24/7 triage department and leadership.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current state license as a registered nurse.
• 2+ years of nursing experience in a clinical care setting (hospice experience preferred).
• Reliable transportation. Ability to sit, stand, bend, move intermittently and lift at least 80-100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide after-hours on-call nursing care Friday 5pm–Monday 8am.
• Advocate for patients and communicate with patient, family, and care team.
• Ensure the plan of care is followed and updated as needed.
