Job summary

Hospice of the Western Reserve seeks an On-Call Nurse for skilled nursing support in patients' homes after hours. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, managing pain, and providing emotional support.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Licensed RN or LPN in the state of Ohio.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs of the patient.
• Provide intermittent skilled nursing services under the physician’s direction.
• Monitor and evaluate pain and symptoms; assist in management.
