Job summary

Warren Transport, Inc. in Waterloo, IA is seeking an After Hours Fleet Manager to support operations outside regular hours. You will handle CTPAT tracking, load tracking, planning, and driver relations to boost satisfaction and retention.

Collaborate across departments to meet customer, driver, and safety goals; maintain regulatory knowledge and ensure DOT compliance; capable of independent work and delivering results with KPIs.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; bachelor's preferred or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication, verbal and written.
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking.
• Ability to negotiate and influence decisions.
• Motivated to achieve goals for company and self.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
• Able to build rapport quickly.

Responsibilities

• Monitor geofencing and escalate alerts for out-of-route issues.
• Dispatch load information and communicate customer expectations.
• Answer inbound contractor and customer communications.
• Use email, phone, and software to answer load questions.
• Handle contractor load-related needs including advances.
• Track, trace, and report positions and ETAs to customers.
• Plan available loads and trucks; cover breakdowns.
• Coordinate service needs with partners on permits and issues.
• Maintain knowledge of DOT regulations for drivers and e-logs.
• Ensure DOT and company safety regulations are followed.
