Job summary

TFI Family Services is seeking a Crisis Support Worker to assist children after hours. This full-time role may involve transporting a child to a new foster home or supporting a child in moderate crisis. You may be with a child in a hospital or at our offices across the area.

A company car, cell phone and compute are provided, with weekend on-call rotation every four weeks. We value compassion, clear communication, and a strong desire to advocate for children.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, eager to learn, and supportive during crises.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Interest in helping children grow and develop coping skills.
• Experience in child welfare is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with children after hours in crisis situations.
• Transport a child to their new foster home or assist during crises.
• Be with a child in hospital or at multiple offices across the area.
• Rotate weekend on-call hours once every four weeks.
