Job summary

TFI Family Services in Kansas is seeking a Crisis Support Worker for a full-time role. You will assist children after hours, including transporting to new foster homes or managing crises, with a company car and cell phone provided.

We value compassion, clear communication, and a willingness to learn. A high school diploma is required, and prior work with children and families is preferred. Weekend on-call rotation is part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous work experience serving children and families preferred.

Responsibilities

• As a Crisis Support Worker, you will assist with children after hours. These situations may include, transporting a child to their new foster home or helping a child in moderate crisis.
• Support Workers may be asked to be with a child in a hospital or any of our numerous offices in the area.
• We do provide a company car, cell phone and compute.
• This position requires a rotation of weekend on call hours once every four weeks.
