Job summary

Thresholds-Inc is hiring a Peer Engagement Specialist for Mobile Crisis Response (CRSS). You will respond to mental health crises, conduct safety assessments, and connect individuals to appropriate services, sometimes meeting them in the community with a Crisis Worker.

As a peer, you will share recovery experiences to build rapport, participate in outreach, and document outcomes while pursuing professional development under supervision.

Qualifications

• Lived and living experience with personal mental health recovery.
• Must be 23 years old or older and have a valid driver’s license.
• Availability Fri–Tue 2:45pm–11:15pm.
• Commitment to harm reduction and trauma-informed care.

Responsibilities

• Respond to mental health crises via crisis hotline and in person.
• Perform quick safety assessments and connect callers to services.
• Meet callers at home, work, or in the community with a crisis worker.
• Document services provided and follow up with clients.
• Engage in professional development during downtime.
