Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience as a county caseworker required or
• Experience as a county caseworker intern through completion of the CWEB program or
• One year experience in a professional social casework in a public or private social services agency

Responsibilities

• Handles after-hours weekend casework to protect the welfare of children and preserve the family unit when possible.
• Receives and processes reports and referrals during weekend after-hours, coordinating with police and medical staff for initial investigations.
• Testifies at hearings and attends court as requested in juvenile and criminal cases.
