The Caseworker Supervisor is responsible for directing the activities of County Caseworkers for Family Support, Intake, and Truancy units, as well as contracted staff who are all responsible for protecting the welfare of children, ensuring that they have a safe and permanent home and preserving the family unit whenever possible. Some responsibilities include assuring the quality of casework in assigned unit through regular meetings with caseworkers, giving clear and concise direction with specific goals, and reviewing caseworker documentation to ensure it meets the Child Welfare Information Solution (CWIS) requirements. This position is expected to be proficient on CWIS and the Integrated Case and Accounting Management System (ICAMS) and will be required to attend Court proceedings as needed. All Caseworker Supervisors are required to participate in the after hours backup rotation.
