Job summary

nou Systems, Inc. (nSI) seeks a mid-level AFSIM developer to join the Engineering Services Division in the National Capital Region. You will model platforms, sensors, and C2 systems, build scenarios, and run simulations to support mission studies and capability gap analyses.

You will work in a team delivering data-driven insights for defense systems, with opportunities to advance in a high-tech, ESOP-enabled environment. Active Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• 4–7 years of modeling, simulation, or software development experience.
• Hands-on experience developing models or scenarios in AFSIM.
• Proficiency in MATLAB and/or Python for data analysis and automation.
• Active Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain AFSIM models of platforms, sensors, weapons, and C2 systems.
• Build scenarios and behavior logic for realistic operations.
• Run simulations, post-process, analyze, and visualize results.
• Develop MATLAB/Python scripts to automate scenario generation and data reduction.
• Collaborate with analysts and customers to translate requirements into simulation capabilities.
