Job summary

Dean Dorton is seeking an AFO Director to lead the Accounting and Financial Outsourcing practice within the Business Consulting Group. You will guide strategy, operations, and client delivery, driving growth, quality, and innovation across markets.

The role requires a senior leader with extensive experience in outsourced accounting, advisory services, and talent development, plus strong business acumen and change management skills. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business required.
• CPA, CMA, or other credential preferred.
• Ten+ years in accounting, advisory, or professional services, incl. leadership of teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the annual AFO operating plan and budget.
• Own practice performance including revenue and profitability.
• Lead the evaluation and deployment of accounting platforms and automation.
• Define the AFO client service model and ensure client satisfaction.
• Grow the AFO practice within BCG through strategy, proposals, and client development.
