Job summary

Fairway Management, Inc. is seeking a Property Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of assigned affordable housing properties. You will market and lease units, manage budgets, respond to resident concerns, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with LIHTC/Section 8 and Fair Housing regulations.

You will also coordinate inspections, handle move-in processes, and lead community engagement activities to maintain high occupancy and service standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of LIHTC or Section 8 affordable housing experience.
• Solid understanding of Fair Housing regulations.
• Experience with income qualification, tenant file accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; quick to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Market and lease apartments while maintaining occupancy.
• Oversee budgets and drive cost effectiveness.
• Address and manage resident concerns and service requests.
• Supervise maintenance and housekeeping staff.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing and affordable housing regulations.
• Organize community activities and be on-call for emergencies.
