Job summary

Fairway Management, Inc. is seeking a Property Manager to oversee daily operations of our affordable housing communities. You will market and lease apartments, drive budget efficiency, and address resident needs while ensuring compliance with LIHTC/Section 8 regulations.

You will supervise on-site staff, coordinate maintenance, and ensure timely inspections and certifications to keep properties compliant and welcoming for residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of affordable housing experience with LIHTC or Section 8.
• Solid understanding of Fair Housing.
• Proficient in income qualification, tenant file accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong skills with Microsoft Office; able to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of assigned properties.
• Market and lease apartments and maintain occupancy targets.
• Manage property budgets and ensure cost effectiveness.
• Address resident concerns and coordinate maintenance and staff.
• Ensure compliance with affordable housing regulations and inspections.
• Supervise property staff and inspect vendor work.
• Prepare unit turns and conduct inspections for safety and curb appeal.
