Job summary

JES Holdings, operating Fairway Management, is seeking a Property Manager to oversee daily operations for affordable-housing communities. You will market and lease units, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with Fair Housing and government programs.

The role requires 2+ years in affordable housing, LIHTC/Section 8 experience, and strong Microsoft Office proficiency. Expect on-site work, a focus on resident services, and leadership of property staff across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of affordable housing experience with LIHTC or Section 8
• Solid understanding of Fair Housing
• Experience with income qualification, tenant file accuracy, and regulatory compliance
• Strong competency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new software

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of assigned properties, including leasing, budgeting, and compliance
• Market and lease apartments; maintain occupancy targets and budget adherence
• Address resident concerns, manage staff (maintenance and housekeeping), and supervise vendor work
• Ensure inspections and certifications (Fair Housing, government programs) are completed
• Lead marketing and leasing strategy and conduct regular property walks and safety checks
• Be on call for after-hours needs and participate in regional training or conferences
