Mercy Housing Management Group is seeking a Property Manager for Cedar Commons in Indianapolis. You will lead site staff, manage operations, oversee budgets and leasing, and ensure compliance with housing laws.

The role offers competitive pay ($30.50/hour) with extensive benefits and on-site responsibilities. Candidates must have a high school diploma and proven housing management experience; a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of local and federal housing laws, including Fair Housing and landlord/tenant laws.
• Experience being accountable for financials.
• HUD/LIHTC/rural housing and tax-exempt bond properties experience.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to site staff and direct building operations.
• Oversee resident relations, property budgets, rent collections, leasing, and compliance.
• Maintain occupancy rates and active leasing strategies to meet targets.
• Manage property operations within budget and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and accurate documentation.
