Job summary

RHF (Retirement Housing Foundation) is seeking an Occupancy Clerk for Plymouth Place, a low‑income affordable housing community. The role supports intake, renewals, file maintenance, rent processing, and compliance with HUD, Section 8, and Tax Credit programs.

The position requires at least 2 years in property management, strong organization, and communication skills, plus experience with Yardi or RealPage. It is a full-time, on-site role with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in property management, with a focus on affordable housing programs (e.g., Section 8, Tax Credit, HUD).
• Familiarity with housing regulations and compliance requirements for low-income housing, including HUD, Section 8, and Section 42.
• Excellent organizational skills and strong written & verbal communication; ability to work with residents and external agencies; proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with property management software such as Yardi/RealPage.

Responsibilities

• Process applications and verify eligibility for program compliance.
• Assist with lease preparation and move-in coordination.
• Support annual recertification and renewals with accurate documentation.
• Maintain accurate resident files per HUD/Tax Credit requirements.
• Track rent payments, delinquencies, and communicate with residents about balances and payment plans.
• Generate occupancy and financial reports and assist with inspections as needed.
