Job summary

Maloney Properties is seeking a full-time Occupancy Specialist to manage a large family housing portfolio in Dorchester, MA. The role ensures annual and interim recertifications are completed on time and supports compliance with LIHTC, HOME, and PB Section 8 regulations.

You will process move-ins/move-outs, assist with rent collections, and provide resident support. Expect light filing, data entry, and administrative tasks in a team-focused setting.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience with the recertification process and related affordable housing regulations (LIHTC, HOME, PB Section 8).
• EIV experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
• Experience with Yardi software is preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish, Cape Verdean or Haitian Creole preferred.
• A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure annual and interim recertifications for all households.
• Process move-ins/move-outs and assist with rent collections.
• Provide support to residents and perform filing and data entry tasks.
• Handle other administrative duties as needed.
