Rainey Property Management in California is seeking a dynamic Leasing Consultant with experience in affordable housing to attract and assist prospective residents, conduct property tours, and process lease applications.

You will ensure compliance with HUD, LIHTC, and Section 8, maintain tenant relationships, and support marketing efforts to maintain occupancy. This role requires strong communication, sales, and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in leasing or sales, preferably in affordable housing.
• Understanding of HUD, LIHTC, Section 8 programs.
• Ability to communicate clearly with prospects and residents.
• Proficiency with property management software.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first contact for prospective residents, providing information on unit availability, pricing, and property features.
• Conduct property tours, answering questions about the community, amenities, and affordable housing programs.
• Assist prospective residents with completing lease applications, verifying eligibility for affordable housing programs, and guiding them through the leasing process.
• Achieve occupancy goals by following up on leads, scheduling appointments, and maintaining a consistent leasing pipeline.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the property’s floor plans, features, and current pricing.
