Job summary

RPM is seeking an Affordable Compliance Associate to oversee and ensure compliance with LIHTC and other affordable housing programs across the portfolio. You will support site staff, conduct audits, review files, and deliver training to keep properties in good standing with HUD and monitoring agencies.

This role requires four years of LIHTC experience, proficiency with Excel and Word, and a willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• LIHTC experience of 4+ years.
• Proficient with Excel and Word.
• LIHTC certification or ability to obtain HCCP.
• Strong oral and written communication.
• Willing and able to travel.
• HUD Project Based Voucher experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and apply LIHTC and related rules to ensure program compliance.
• Review Income Certifications and Annual Eligibility Certifications for proper documentation.
• Assist with developing training materials and administer programs.
• Provide phone and email support to on-site staff for timely file processing.
• Prepare and submit reports for monitoring agencies and partners.
• Coordinate with outside auditors as needed.
• Monitor that Resident Services are administered per LURA requirements.
• Prepare property compliance abstracts using LURA or other laws.
• Other duties as assigned.
