Job summary

Arnold Grounds is seeking an Affordable Community Manager with extensive knowledge of affordable project-based housing, tenant-based Section 8, and LIHTC properties. You’ll oversee daily operations, leasing, rent collection, and resident services to meet financial targets.

You will supervise maintenance and leasing staff, manage waitlists, certifications, recertifications, and reporting, and ensure compliance with HUD rules and safety standards across the community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; relevant experience accepted.
• Experience with project-based Section 8 housing.
• Ability to navigate HUD rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding tenant service and address resident requests.
• Manage waitlist, certifications, move-ins/move-outs.
• Maintain lease files and ensure compliance with HUD/LIHTC rules.
• Supervise staff and coordinate maintenance activities.
• Ensure safety and financial performance within budget.
