Related Affordable is seeking a dynamic Community Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our 71-unit affordable housing community in Chelsea, MA. You will oversee leasing, staff, budgeting, and compliance with housing programs, while fostering a safe, welcoming living environment for residents.

Ideal candidates bring at least 3 years in property management, strong financial acumen, experience with RealPage, OneSite and JD Edwards, and bilingual Spanish.

Competenze

• 3+ years of property management experience.
• Expertise in affordable housing programs (Project-Based Section 8, LIHTC, etc.).
• Strong financial acumen, including budget management and accounting principles.
• Experience with RealPage, OneSite, and JD Edwards.
• Bilingual Spanish is required.
• Proven leadership skills with direct supervisory experience.
• Proactive, problem-solving mindset with a passion for creating great living experiences.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and navigate sensitive issues professionally.
• Fosters collaboration and a resident-centered environment with empathy and respect.

• Lead and supervise office and maintenance staff.
• Oversee leasing, marketing, recertifications, and admin.
• Ensure financial operations: AP/AR, rent collection, and delinquency management.
• Build relationships with residents and manage tenant/landlord relations.
• Maintain compliance with affordable housing programs.
• Supervise property maintenance and ensure high-quality service.
• Develop and manage the property's budget.
• Prepare key reports to track performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Take on special projects to enhance the community and drive operational success.
