Job summary

Evergreen is seeking a Recertification Specialist to manage resident certifications and ensure HUD, LIHTC, IHDA compliance. You will verify third-party documents, maintain files, and support audits and reporting with attention to detail.

Strong data entry skills and knowledge of regulatory platforms (TRACS, EIV) are required, with bilingual ability considered a plus. The role requires collaboration with site staff and may include general property operations support.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in affordable housing with recertification responsibilities
• Experience with HUD, LIHTC, and IHDA programs preferred
• Illinois Real Estate Leasing Agent License must be obtained within 120 days of hire
• Strong data entry and regulatory knowledge

Responsibilities

• Manage resident certifications from initiation to completion, with deadlines
• Meet residents to complete questionnaires and verification forms
• Request third-party verifications and follow up
• Enter data into OneSite accurately
• Support audits and MORs and internal reviews
• Assist with leasing, compliance, and resident retention tasks
