Job summary

Montage is seeking a Sales Account Executive to drive telephone marketing and sales of life and health insurance products to members/clients. You will work with marketing units to promote retention and meet sales targets.

You will calculate and present quotes, process applications, input activities into the CRM, and respond to inquiries professionally. A commission plan supplements the hourly pay for this role.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of sales experience, preferably in the insurance industry.
• Insurance sales and/or telemarketing experience preferred
• Basic PC skills including spreadsheet and word processing software

Responsibilities

• Sell insurance products to prospective members/clients by making and receiving telephone calls.
• Prospect and produce life, health, disability, dental and other product lines offered to Affinity Group Associations
• Meet individual sales and quality targets and monitor progress with management
• Review sales reports and data to identify opportunities to improve sales
• Utilize marketing campaigns to meet monthly and annual sales goals
• Calculate and present quotes, write insurance applications, follow up on pending transactions
• Document sales activities in the CRM system
• Respond to inquiries and resolve problems professionally and promptly
• Maintain insurance product knowledge and selling techniques

Job description

The Sales Account Executive in this role is responsible for telephone marketing and sales of insurance products to members/clients. Meets established sales targets and other quality of business factors. Assist customers with product information and recommendations for the life and health products offered through the Affinity Group. Work with business and marketing units to encourage and promote customer retention.

Your Impact

• Sells insurance products to prospective member/clients by making and receiving telephone calls.
• Prospects and produces new life, health, disability, dental and other product lines offered to Affinity Group Associations
• Responsible for meeting individual sales and quality of business targets.
• Reviews and analyzes sales reports and other data to monitor progress towards stated goals and provides input to management to help identify opportunities to improve sales.
• Utilize marketing campaigns, advertising, and other marketing methods to meet monthly and annual sales goals.
• Calculates and presents quotes, writes insurance applications, follows up regarding pending or incomplete transactions as needed.
• Document sales activities in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
• Responds to member/client inquiries and resolves problems professionally, accurately and on a timely basis. Refers questions to an appropriate resource if unable to resolve problem.
• Maintains insurance product knowledge and selling techniques.

Successful Candidates Will Have

• 1+ year of sales experience, preferably in the insurance industry
• Insurance sales and/or telemarketing experience preferred
• Basic PC skills required, including spreadsheet and word processing software

In addition to the pay rate below, this role is also eligible for a monthly commission plan.

Pay Range

$15.00 - $15.00 Hourly

The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for this role.
