Job summary

tarte Inc. is seeking an Affiliate Creator Community Manager to elevate our growing creator affiliate program. You will own day-to-day strategy and management of our affiliate creator communities, focusing on TikTok Shop, Discord and Lark.

The role blends community building, creator marketing, and affiliate strategy to drive engagement and sales. You will design programs, activations, and gamified initiatives, nurture top creators, and develop scalable communications to prompt action and growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in influencer marketing, affiliate marketing, creator partnerships or related field.
• Hands-on experience building and/or managing a Discord community.
• Experience with TikTok Shop affiliate marketing or other social commerce platforms.
• Strong understanding of the creator economy and what motivates creators to engage, create and sell.
• Experience developing creator challenges, incentive programs, or gamified community initiatives.

• Develop a programming calendar featuring challenges, contests, leaderboards, incentives, trainings, webinars, and creator experiences.

• Stay ahead of platform trends and gather community feedback to inform internal teams.
• Establish and track KPIs for community health and affiliate performance.

About the Role:

tarte cosmetics is looking for a Affiliate Creator Community Manager to help take our rapidly growing creator affiliate program to the next level.

This role will own the day-to-day strategy and management of our affiliate creator communities, with a particular focus on TikTok Shop, Discord and Lark. We’re looking for someone who understands that a best-in-class affiliate program is about more than recruiting creators; it’s about creating a community people genuinely want to be part of.

The ideal candidate is deeply plugged into the creator and affiliate ecosystem, understands what motivates creators to post and sell, and knows how to turn community engagement into action. They’ll develop programming, activations, challenges, gamification strategies and communications that keep our affiliates informed, engaged and excited to create content for tarte. This is a hands‑on role for someone who is equal parts community builder, creator marketer and affiliate strategist.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the strategy, day-to-day management, and continued growth of tarte’s Discord and Lark affiliate communities, creating an engaging destination where creators want to participate and grow.
• Develop an ongoing community programming calendar featuring challenges, contests, leaderboards, incentives, recognition programs, trainings, webinars, and IRL creator experiences.
• Identify, nurture, and reward both top-performing and emerging affiliates, providing the education, resources, content inspiration, and selling strategies needed to drive long-term success.
• Build scalable communication strategies that quickly mobilize creators around priority products, promotions, commission opportunities, content best practices, and TikTok Shop tools.
• Stay ahead of TikTok Shop trends, platform updates, affiliate best practices, and emerging creator behaviors, while gathering community feedback to inform internal teams and future programming.
• Establish and track KPIs for community health and affiliate performance, including active membership, participation, creator activation, content volume, sales, and the effectiveness of community initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in influencer marketing, affiliate marketing, creator partnerships, social media community management or a related field
• Previous hands‑on experience building and/or managing a Discord community
• Experience with TikTok Shop affiliate marketing or another social commerce/creator affiliate platform
• Strong understanding of the creator economy and what motivates creators to engage, create and sell
• Experience developing creator challenges, incentive programs, ambassador programs or other gamified community initiatives
• Proven ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with creators at scale
• Highly creative with a strong pulse on social media, internet culture and emerging creator trends
• Comfortable using data and performance insights to inform community and affiliate strategy
• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities at once
• Excellent written communication skills with the ability to adapt to tarte’s fun, social-first brand voice
• Self-starter who thrives in a fast-moving environment and is excited to test, learn and build
