Job summary

SMS Data Products Group, Inc. seeks an experienced Network Administrator to support the AFCENT NOSC contract at Shaw AFB, SC.

This role provides 24/7 enterprise IT help desk and network operations, focusing on securing and maintaining communication and data systems for USCENTCOM and warfighters. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of relevant networking experience, AD and server management skills, firewall experience, and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant networking experience.
• Experience with Microsoft server installation, roles, and active directory.
• Firewall experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 Tier 1 enterprise IT help desk support to AFCENT users.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents on routers, switches, servers, firewalls, proxies and caching arrays.
• Monitor performance metrics to identify anomalies and substandard performance.
• Escalate complex issues to senior engineers for analysis and resolution.
• Provide documentation and meetings/briefings support as required.
