Job summary

Wall Colmonoy's Aerobraze division in Cincinnati, Ohio is seeking a welder to join our aerospace fabrication team. You will perform TIG/MIG welding, interpret routes, and ensure quality welds in a fast-paced environment.

You will read drawings, adhere to safety standards, and troubleshoot equipment. The position requires a High School diploma, 1 year experience, and AWS D17.1 qualification on basic materials; must be able to tack and fusion weld under supervision.

• Proficiency in understanding and recognizing weld symbols with basic understanding of welding terminology.

Responsibilities

• Fabrication and joining of metal parts in an aerospace environment using TIG/MIG welding techniques.
• Create quality welds according to provided routers.
• Ensure equipment is set up and used safely with safety devices in use.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment affecting quality, productivity or safety.
• Inspect and identify weld imperfections.
• Read, evaluate, and respond to product specifications and drawings.
• Adhere to standards and procedures regarding traceability.
